Imagine standing at the water’s edge—the light shifting, the air still before a storm. In that moment, everything feels suspended: color, movement, emotion. If you’ve ever felt that quiet intensity, you already share the world that inspires these paintings. Each piece begins in such moments—when seeing becomes feeling, and color becomes the language of expression. Across eight collections, from luminous reflections on water to abstract envisioned landscapes and expressive portraits of drag queens and transgender individuals, the work traces a single thread: light, emotion, and connection.

That fascination began early—sketching beside my father in Savannah, where light shimmered across the marshes and everything seemed alive with possibility. What started as curiosity became a lifelong exploration of how light and color transform everything they touch.

Over time, these paintings have found homes as varied as the Mandarin Oriental in New York, Marriott Hotels, and Accenture, as well as with private collectors who tell me their pieces bring them peace, joy, and renewed energy. Each painting is an invitation—for you to pause, to look more deeply, and to feel the light that lives within us all, whether in moments of stillness or in the turbulence of change.

If you’re drawn to the feeling of standing at the water’s edge—seeking clarity, movement, renewal, or the quiet steadiness that water brings—this collection is created to evoke those feelings in you.
Living by a beautiful lake has inspired this series of paintings, Faith Like Flowing Water. A dream come true, here I can experience and witness Nature’s changing moods and the rhythm of the seasons. I love watching the shifting patterns, reflections, and the way light travels across the surface. Seeing this both excites and soothes me. Being near water allows me to feel fully present and alive.

Have you ever felt the awe of standing beneath a vast starry sky—small, yet connected to something immense and radiant? The Light of Distant Stars brings that energy into your space.
Stars, novas, galaxies, and eclipses have fascinated me since childhood. This collection of abstract paintings and hand-pulled screen prints is my attempt to capture their beauty, power, and energy. Each work is an exploration of cosmic forces, transformed into a visual experience that is both luminous and dynamic.

What do you feel when a landscape seems to reflect your own inner world—its calm, its turbulence, its shifts in light and mood? Envisioned Landscapes invites you into those experiences, offering a visual mirror for the states of mind and being we all move through.
These paintings are metaphors for emotional and spiritual conditions. Some are calm and uplifting; others are dark and turbulent. They are rooted in my faith and practice of Nichiren Buddhism, expressing the concept of the 10 worlds—or 10 conditions of life—from hell to enlightenment, which we experience dynamically from one moment to the next.
